Exit Scripts is a video consisting of a spoken text, accompanied by automatic transcriptions of voice memos recorded by the artist into her phone over a period of 18 months.

Stemming from an experimental approach to self-therapy, and a critical awareness of the use of voice recordings in surveillance, profiling and customer service training, the transcriptions that appear in the video are automatically ordered according to arousal, as detected by a custom designed algorithm that scours for ‘emotional valence’ indicated by tone, and mood intensity, of voice.
